Leiria bus station is a 10-minute walk away from Porta 20. Several express coaches connect Leiria to the rest of the country.
Inside the city you can use the local Mobilis buses. The closest stop is at Fonte das Três Bicas (where you can catch buses 2, 3, 7 and 8) or at Av. Marquês de Pombal (where you can catch buses 1 and 2). Both bus stops are a 3-minute walk away from the Guesthouse.
Rede Expressos provides nation-wide coaches and also connections to the main cities of Spain.
Mobilis is the local bus line, connecting different areas of the city.
Leiria is on the Western train line, connecting it to Lisbon and Figueira da Foz. From the train station you can catch local Mobilis buses 1 or 2 to get to the Guesthouse.
Pombal train station is 28km away from the Guesthouse. Pombal station is on the Northern train line and is a stop on the Regional, inter-regional, inter-city, Alfa Pendular (high speed) and international train routes.
CP – Comboios de Portugal is a state company that provides train transport. If you are traveling by train, we strongly recommend you to use the Northern line (“Linha do Norte”), leaving in Pombal station and then take a bus or taxi to Leiria.
If you’re coming from Northern Portugal, take the A1 highway and take exit 9 to come off at Leiria.
If you’re coming from Southern or Western Portugal take the A1 and take exit 9 to come off at Leiria, or the A8 and take exit 26 to come off at Leiria Sul. Leiria is also on the A19/IC2/N1, connecting the city to Lisbon, Coimbra and Porto.
The A1 and A8 highways have tolls.
